The exact scope of each job is set out in the quote, work order, or plan that we provide for that service. Anything IT LLC provides these services using reasonable professional skill and care, and we tailor each job to the equipment and needs you tell us about.
Before we begin most paid work, we provide you with a quote or an estimate. A quote states an agreed price for a defined job. An estimate gives our reasonable expectation of the likely cost based on what we know before we begin, and it may change if the work turns out to be more complex than first appeared.
Wherever possible, we confirm an approved price before starting work that would exceed a certain amount. For flat-rate, well-defined jobs we often give a fixed quote up front so that there are no surprises at the end. For open-ended diagnostic work, we agree an authorization level with you in advance and will stop and contact you before spending beyond that level.

When a repair requires replacement parts, we will generally obtain and install compatible parts that meet or exceed the requirements of the equipment, either new or, where stated, high-quality refurbished parts. We install and configure software only in a way that respects the licenses of the software publishers. We will not install unlicensed or pirated software, crack copy protection, or help you bypass licensing agreements, because such practices are unlawful and could harm your system and our business.
If you provide your own software, you confirm that you hold a valid license for it and that you authorize us to install and configure it on your machine for the agreed purpose. Some products require an online license check; we will guide you through any steps that must be completed with your own account.
Warranties on parts are those offered by the part manufacturers or wholesale suppliers, and we pass those warranties on to you where they apply.
This section is important. Computer repairs sometimes involve risk to the data stored on a device, even when the work is performed carefully and correctly. Because every storage failure is different, Anything IT LLC strongly encourages you to back up your important files before any service.
Where you have an existing backup, we may rely on it as part of the service. Where you do not have one, we may offer, as an optional extra, to create a backup of your data before we begin a job. If you decline that option, you accept responsibility for preserving your own data before the repair.
Except where we have specifically agreed to perform data recovery as a defined paid service, our work does not include a guarantee that data will be recovered. Standard repairs fix the fault you described; they are not a substitute for a dependable backup routine.

Either you or Anything IT LLC may end an ongoing service plan by giving the other reasonable advance notice before the next billing cycle. If either party materially breaches these terms and does not correct the breach within a reasonable time after notice, the other party may end the agreement.
We may suspend or end service immediately where necessary to protect the safety of our staff or customers, to comply with the law, or where a customer refuses to pay for completed work or acts abusively toward our team.
